When the Covid-19 Pandemic struck the entire world, everything was put on a pause. The music industry was hit hard as gigs and events stopped - - leaving our local musicians unemployed. Just as the music in their hearts did not fade out, they sought for alternative ways to survive.

SIR PAUL MCKIMCHI is a product by Philippine Musician, Neil Baruelo, launched last June 15, 2020 at the height of the pandemic. Since Filipinos have learned to embrace Korean culture and food, Neil thought of learning how to make their table staple -- Kimchi.  McKimchi was first sold via Facebook to many relatives, friends, neighbors, band followers, and colleagues in the music industry. It gained more popularity as those who experienced McKimchi on their meal tables posted how it had a unique Filipino taste to it. In a month, Neil taught of completing the "EATLES" experience and started to sell SIR JOHN LENNONGGANISA (Ilocos-Abra Longganisa), and SIR GEORGE YOGURRISON (Sagada Yogurt).  Soon, SIR RINGO STARKIES (Homemade Cookies) shall be launched. Now on it's first year, SIR PAUL MCKIMCHI continues to bring umami happiness to many lunch and dinner tables.

Kimchi is a staple in the Korean cuisine.  A traditional side dish of salted and fermented vegetables made with a variety of seasoning. It is packed with probiotics that is good for digestion, can boost your immune system, lower cholesterol, and can help in weight management.  It is rich in beta-carotene and antioxidants that can help reduce the risk of serious health conditions.
